We act as advocates on behalf of and in defense of the Community Credit Cooperatives in their dealings with private and public sector actors. We provide a platform to share knowledge and resources and; to contribute to the strength of the Cooperative movement as a whole.
In 2018, KFCC (the mother organisation of UFCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives and commenced the support towards the establishment of Saemaul Geumgos (popularly known as MGs) in Uganda.
Uganda Federation of MG Community Credit Cooperatives (UFCC) was officially registered on the 6th September 2022 by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives.
The Uganda Federation of MG Community Credit Cooperatives (UFCC) is an umbrella organisation for MG Community Credit Cooperatives in Uganda.
