During Dr. Andy’s visit in Uganda in March 2024 he made an initiative to introduce MG work in eastern region of Uganda that is in Busoga. During his visit he was accompanied by the minister of trade and cooperative and the people of Busoga welcomed the project with open arms and excited to see it’s fruits in future. The people of Busoga were taken through some training about how MGs operate by Namatovu Annet the chairman of Bbogole MG.
